Software Tool for Worst Case Circuit Analysis Data Base (Reliability Analysis & Design)

A software tool that facilitates the creation of a uniform worst case parts database. With user input, package will generate nominal, worst case minimum, and worst case maximum values for components. The bias and random portions of the tolerance are also given. The program handles MIL-SPEC and commercial resistors, capacitors, and semiconductors.

This program performs an automated Worst Case Circuit Analysis in accordance with MIL-STD- 785B, Task 206.

WSI REL (Rome Labs)

Reliability assessment of multi-chip packages and Wafer Scale Integration (WSI) modules. It includes failure theories for both structural and electronic failure mechanisms. Structural models include high and low cycle fatigue, Palmgren Miner damage accumulation, probabilistic methods for brittle materials, fracture mechanics, and creep with low cycle fatigue. Other factors considered are hot carrier induced degradation, electromigration, time dependency, and Kirkendall voiding.
