CARE® LSA - Logistic Support Analysis (http://www.bqr.com)
The Mini-LSA module, one of the CARE® family members, provides the
logistics engineer with analysis and planning capabilities for the project
Logistics Support requirements.
As part of the Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP), the system
maintenance engineers define the maintenance concept that is required to
keep the system working. The Mini-LSA uses this definition in order to
produce the maintenance reports and calculate the spare parts quantities.
The Mini-LSA tool provides very simple and straightforward method to
define the system maintenance concept and provide details for each one
of the system assemblies.
The CARE® Mini-LSA follows the guidelines of MIL-STD-1388-2, DOD
Requirements for a Logistics Support Analysis Record and commercial philosophy.
CHEAP (Cost Effectiveness Analysis Program) (Systems Effectiveness Associates)
Analyzes field service costs, warranty costs, and costs of ownership. Establishes
sparing requirements. Creates a database for development, production, operation,
and support costs. Capable of recommending support personnel and work loading.
Calculates system up-time. CHEAP allows for engineers and managers to examine
life-cycle costs of a product.
CORIDA (Management Sciences)
Computes optimum spares requirements based on costs for availability goals.
Interfaces to PPCM spreadsheet for support costing. Models reality of sites,
skills, usage quantities for selected time periods. Computes raw costs
of availability.
D-LCC (ALD)
D-LCC is an innovative software for decision making based on the Life
Cycle Cost and Total
Ownership Cost (TOC) calculation and analysis. D-LCC allows to create
a flexible cost model
based on the Cost Breakdown Structure and specific Product/Work Breakdown
Structure.
Logisticians would appreciate the D-LCC calculation and report features,
which make the
LCC-based decision making easy.
ISLE (Integrated Spares and Logistics Evaluation System) (Advanced Logistics
Developments)
An automated spare parts-cost-availability optimization program. Features:
spare part calculations, life support cost analysis, manpower planning,
optimal repair level analysis, logistics evaluations, sensitivity analysis,
report & generation capability. Management of data necessary for spare
parts and logistics analysis.
Logistics Support Analysis (Management Sciences)
Determines the range and depth of spare parts needed to support a defined
mission at a specified level. Input data based upon information needed
to perform FMECA. Downtime plus time to procure a part are coupled with
cost data. The data is ranked by event frequency (risk), and support urgency
(benefit). Spare parts recommendation is created by the report generator.
Recommendations biased by human anxiety factors through the risk and benefit
inputs.
RAM Commander - SpOpt (ALD)
SpOpt - is the spare parts analysis and optimization module based on
the cost and logistics
criteria. RAM Commander is the world pioneering software providing
everything for reliability
prediction & modeling based on one of the prediction models for
electronic (MIL-HDBK-217,
Bellcore, British Telecom, French Telecom, ItalTel, etc.), as
well as mechanical and
electro-mechanical equipment . RAM Commander performs additional tasks
related to reliability
analysis and evaluation: Reliability Allocation, Pareto Analysis, Reliability
Growth, Temperature
curve, Mission Profile, RBD with Monte Carlo Simulation, Spare Parts
Optimization,
Maintainability Prediction, comprehensive parts libraries, user-friendly
interface and easy to use
Import/ Export (including to/from FMECA and FMEA).
R/M/L CATSOP (Rel., Maint., and Logistics Computer Aided Tailoring) (Rome
Labs)
An expert system for tailoring MIL-STD-785, "Reliability Program Plan,
MIL-STD-470, "Maintainability Program Plan", and MIL-STD-1388A, "Logistics
Support Analysis" to specific systems. Takes into account the information
pertinent to system requirements, maintenance concepts, mission needs,
acquisition phases, funding levels, use of environment, etc. This information
makes possible a definition of scope, character and make-up of each task
in each standard.
Relex LCC is a very powerful and flexible life cycle cost analysis tool.
It allows you to calculate the cost of your product over its lifetime.
By taking inflation factors into account, you can easily perform trade-offs
of various alternatives. Capabilities include a user friendly interface,
user-definable Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS), built-in equation editor,
net present value (NPV) calculations, ability to define time intervals
and various alternatives, sensitivity analyses, and full integration with
the other Relex modules. Relex is the industry leading R&M software
package and incorporates MIL-HDBK-217, Bellcore, and Mechanical Reliability
Predictions, graphical Reliability Block Diagrams, FMEAs, FMECAs, Maintainability
Predictions, RCM and Life Cycle Cost analyses, and Fault Tree analyses
in one completely integrated tool.
Calculates Spares required for equipment supported at Sites and Base. Optimizes
scale of spares at sites for minimum cost.
Sparecost (Mitchell & Gothier)
Spares optimization, offers an easy and accurate way to calculate the replacement
spares holdings required at both "Site" and "Base" locations, given a defined
stock-out risk. Site spares are also optimized to minimize the cost of
spares holding. Includes default values, requires actual items and their
failure rates.
STOCKOPT (Rex Thompson & Partners)
Program to optimize spares holdings. Takes into account cost, weight, quantity,
volume, or user- specified parameters.
