Objectives of the Workshop
The objective of this workshop series is to
provide an opportunity to present and discuss
various methods of functional modeling for
complex technical systems. The workshop brings
together the world's leading experts in the area of
functional modeling from diverse engineering
fields (Artificial Intelligence, Risk and
Reliability, Safety Critical Computing Systems,
Control Engineering and Cognitive Science) to
present and discuss:
Participants are encouraged to present a paper and
participate in the subsequent workshop
discussions. The papers will be reviewed and
published in a bounded volume which will be
ready shortly after the workshop.
Location of the Workshop
The workshop will take place at the Maryland Room (Marie
Mount Hall) of The University of
Maryland.
There is a registration fee of $300/person, which includes a bounded copy of the proceeding, handouts, lunch and refreshments.
